Yesterday was the first day that Dad returned to work. He was very excited to be going back and was cheesing for us. He decided to try and work for 8 hours (his normal shift is twelve but the doctors don't want him working longer than 8 a night) and was zonked when he came back home, but headed out again today for another round ;) His work has been wonderful and his coworkers helped him pace himself so he can get his stamina back after being out for so long. Lord willing chemo won't knock him back too far :)

Getting ready for his first day back at work!

He's sure in a good mood ;)

33 years and still in love :)

Heading off to work!

  1. Well, the working man is back at it!! Wonderful, and such an inspiration to us all!!. Reminds me to be humble, not to grumble about all I have to do but be grateful for what I can do. Thanks for making my life a better one!

Would like to show a picture of Norene in our Sunday Service for Cancer Survivor Day next Sunday. We CELEBRATE all those survivors, like Allan, Colleen, me, and so many others, we REMEMBER those we have lost, like Norene and others, and we FIGHT BACK by providing prevention info. and raising funds for Amer. Cancer Society via Relay for Life. If it OK with the family, and someone has a picture, we could just get a scan sent or I could pick up here locally, please let me know. almar@wavecable.com Thanks for considering.

Hugs all around, and WHOOPPIE for the return to work guy!! Marge, Tracyton Church
